One of the best ones I discovered is for my dog. She was really fat and cute, and her name was Mathilda. Hehehe, my mom named her. Hey, it was between Mathilda and Pearl, so I guess I’m glad she went with Mathilda. Anyway, one of the anagrams for her name is Dilated Tidal Ham, which I think really suits. Long Live Mathilda!
Hey! It’s been a lil while… I just started work again last week, so I’ve been a tad bit crazy. But enough about me. I found (great how I start the next sentence with “I” after I said “enough about me”) this super cool video on booooooom.com that makes me all happy and sad at the same time. Take a look. No… I didn’t get sloppy and pass out. I just thought that was a fitting title because for the past couple of days I have been so frustrated, and it’s making me feel all woozy. Not actually frustrated, but have you ever loved and obsessed over something so much that it makes you angry? Well that was me the whole weekend. It’s kinda like the feeling you get after you watch a Harry Potter movie, and you get really angry cause you know you’ll never be a wizard. Happens to me every time. Anyway, that’s not what I am here to talk about. First, I just wanted to tell a funny story. So this weekend, my family went to Martha’s Vineyard again, and on the way I really really had to go pee. We finally get to the ferry, and we have to wait for a while, so I go to use the public bathroom. I take care of my business, and on my way out I look over at the urinals and… what the fuck. There is this guy with his shlong out, taking a piss, simultaneously eating out of a giant tub of CoolWhip. Just eating the stuff while he’s pissing! Unacceptable I say.
Anyway, the only other thing I wanted to post was a preview picture of a little project I am hoping to start. This is going to take a while, so don’t expect anything soon… but it might be fun. Send me an email if you’re at all interested in submitting art or an article or whatever. It stands for: crazy ramblings, art, and phonography. Yeah, that last one isn’t a word, but pops told me it was a good idea.
I got my wisdom teeth out yesterday, so right now I’m just a big puffy mess. Although my huge face is highly uncomfortable, it has allowed me to do a lot more browsing on the google-internets than I am usually capable of. And thus, I have found some glorious music with the aid of sites like Last.fm and The Hype Machine. First off, you have to watch the video below. It’s by Janelle Monáe, who just released her album The ArchAndroid in May of this year. She is super cool, and she has incredible hair. Her music is really different and refreshing, as is the video below. Take a look!

Another artist who I just discovered and am quickly falling in love with is Marina and the Diamonds. Check out her myspace page here. She is a Welsh singer-songwriter who is popular in the UK but is quickly gaining fans in North America. Her video to the song “Oh No!” is quite nice. Give a lil listen! Embarrassing that I’m blogging about ice cream again, but my foodgasm meter just got busted up! This stuff makes me wet. My family discovered this ice cream on Martha’s Vineyard over the summer, and it’s just disgustingly good. It’s called “jeni’s” ice cream, check it out here: www.jenisicecreams.com.
Jeni Britton Bauer was inspired to start making her own ice cream while working in a French pastry shop. She uses fresh and exotic ingredients to make ice cream that is “less sweet and more flavorful.” Even Martha Stewart is obsessed with this stuff. In an interview, Martha said about jeni’s ice cream, “I wanna rub this stuff all over my breasts and then lick it off myself.” With flavors like “Pistachio and Honey,” ”Sweet Corn and Black Raspberries,” and “Goat Cheese with Roasted Cherries,” this stuff will turn you into an obese cow in about a week. You can order it online, and although it is a little pricey, it is worth every penny. Buy it. Now. If I could make a baby with this ice cream, I would do it. For reals.
I know, I failed. Whatcha gonna do? Maybe I’m just not cut out for this whole blogging business. I should at least be able to post something every week… or two. But I can’t even do that cause I’m a massive turd bucket. Part of the problem is that nothing interesting is happing right now cause June is poop. Don’t get me wrong, I love summer, but the fact that I am not on summer vacation yet is a little bit of a let down. And although adbartee’s comments are reason enough for me to keep this blog in nice running order, his comments are getting a little lonely down there. I mean, I’m not trying to hint at anything, but maybe if someone out there just happened to be reading this and wanted to leave a little written treat for me, it might make me extremely happy. Speaking of comments, today I had four pending blog comments in my spam folder, so I checked them out. Guess what? They were all from some weird company with the words “mariana” and “elf” in their email address, and all of the emails were for cheap cod. Cod! Who buys cod online. The emails said stuff like “buy cheap cod online” and “without prescription free cod.” Why would I need a prescription for fish? How the fuck did Mariana cod lady find my blog? Anyway, toodles for now, and maybe I’ll post something else soon. Maybe.
Sorry it’s been so long… not that you care cause you would have written me a complaint or something by now, but nobody is even reading this right now so it doesn’t matter! I can say whatever I want! Poop face! Turd bucket! Actually, this is a perfect opportunity for me to use the “Creative Cursing” book my mom got me for my birthday, you twat slammer! Fetus packer! Ok sorry if I offended you, nobody.
Anyway, I’m writing cause I wanted to explain a bit about this thing called GUMWAP that I’ve been a part of for the past couple of months. I found it on craigslist… and this was one of the projects that ended up working out quite well—unlike the nasty kraken man dilemma from earlier. GUMWAP stands for Give Us Money We Are Pretty, and it is a magazine/blog about fashion. Desire (who runs the whole project) blogs about clothes and style and flare while throwing in terms like “face money” and “powa powa.” The blog is updated a lot more frequently than this one, and the zine is scheduled for release in May (more about that later.) Check out GUMWAP here. It’s super cool.

Sorry it’s been so long. I’ve been quite busy with a certain photography project that I’ll post about soon, and I’ve been wasting all my free time on Chat Roulette. Anyway, I made a vimeo account recently so I could post little pieces of doody from all my video endeavors, and I stumbled upon a great delight. A couple from Jakarta, Indonesia runs a small business called Wedding Clip where they make little video treats for couples getting married. The videos are so cute. Some of them are little stories about the couples, others are just series of clips from weddings… but they are all really well made. Take a look at the one below and then visit their website or their vimeo stream because the videos will make you want to get married RIGHT NOW!

Merry Christmas everyone! I haven’t posted anything in such a long time cause I’ve been crazy busy with Nutcracker and holiday-related business, like overdosing on chocolate pecan pie. I just wanted to wish everyone happy holidays and let you know about all the new happenings on my Flickr. I made a post a while ago in which I brought up a photography competition that I was entering: the “International Teen Fashion Photo Competition.” I entered four photos, and although two of my photos made it to the top 60, I didn’t win any cash which was a little bit of a bummer. I was supposed to take photos of students in four different settings… I go into more detail in the description of my Flickr set, so read all about it by clicking the link.
On another note, I have created a set on my Flickr called “the mashed potato too.” It is a set for all of my dance-related photos.
